Shannon Terpstra

Shannon studied law at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. After her bachelor's degree, she completed a 4-month student internship at Murray Attorneys in Curacao. She then returned to the Netherlands and completed a master's degree in Criminal Law and a master's degree in Private Law.

Right after completing her studies, she wanted to return to Curacao and to her family - who, by the way, also live on the island. Now Shannon works as a lawyer at our firm.

She specializes in criminal and civil law including corporate, contract and employment law 

Shannon is a real go getter and is active in the legal world outside office hours in addition to her work at the office. In fact, she is a board member of the Curacao Young Bar Association, an association for young lawyers on the island.

She also teaches at the University of Curacao and writes for legal publisher SDU Netherlands.

In her free time, Shannon enjoys being with friends and family and spending time at the beach.
